Use a creative name to distinguish yourself from the other Janes, Sallys and Mikes. This helps everyone remember who you are.

Keep your comments on topic and do not disrupt the flow of conversation. Off-topic comments may be removed without notice.

It’s equally important to refrain from engaging in the following. Violations of these rules may result in the deletion of your account without warning.
+ Don’t post promotional materials, spam, etc.
No individuals, groups or businesses may solicit for any projects or purposes external to the site on Laurenwantstoknow.com or any of its sister sites. This includes, but is not limited to:
- The sale of products and/or services
- Requesting signatures, money, gifts or donations for personal or cause-related purposes
- Work-from-home businesses or opportunities
- Job opportunities or resumes
- Charities, causes, events or fundraisers
- Promotion of personal blogs or websites, or those you represent
- Contest entries
+ Don’t post or comment inappropriately
We have a zero tolerance policy for any inappropriate or derogatory content relating to a person’s age, race, religion, nationality, gender, sexual orientation, or handicap. We don’t allow pornographic or sexually explicit content, content advocating or chronicling illegal activities, content containing vulgar or inappropriate language, content that is not owned or licensed by the visitor and is being used in violation of copyright or intellectual property protection, or is a trade secret. We reserve the right to deem any questionable material offensive or inappropriate.
Valid complaints pertaining to your conduct will be handled by issuing a warning or the permanent termination of your account.
+ Don’t post or share private information
Use common sense when it comes to posting personal information. Do not make personal information, such as your address, phone number or your credit card number, public. Stay safe and only share this sensitive information privately with people you trust. We cannot verify that everyone is who they say they are on the site. When in doubt, do not share personal information.
Photo and video guidelines
Do not submit inappropriate photos or videos. Inappropriateness includes, but is not limited to, depictions of violence, racism, harassment, gang symbols, profanity, nudity or anything else of a sexual nature.
Reporting violations
We do not preapprove user content on the site, so don’t assume we have read everything that’s out there before you see it.
If you feel a member has violated the site guidelines, please contact the site administrator and we’ll look into the matter.
We review all reports in a timely manner and make decisions at our own discretion. We welcome the opinion of site members, but have final authority over enforcement of the guidelines and rules.
