Last Saturday, McCarthy Nissan in Olathe, KS showcased a rare vehicle. The 2011 Nissan Juke pre-production model was sitting on our showroom floor for public viewing. And I got to take a ride in it! The Juke is a pretty special vehicle. A cross between a sports car and crossover. Kind of a category in its own. I was lucky enough to ride along with Tom Strongman, automotive expert and writer for the KC Star and Michael Schuessler, representative for Nissan. Tagging along in the back seat with my flip camera, I listened in on torque, boost and comparative models. Check out the product presentation of Nissan Juke: On August 10, the Nissan Juke will release exact pricing. We are estimating under $20k – $25k for the fully-loaded model. Projected release date for dealer inventory (a.k.a. for you to buy) will be November of this year. What do you think of the Nissan Juke? Would you drive it?
Wowzer! I gotta tell ya, the 2010 Nissan Maxima is quite a vehicle. Not only is the ‘look’ of it cool, but there are more bells and whistles on this car than I know what to do with! Whoever designed the new Maxima, took a lot of time in creating a design of convenience and class. After my little walkaround with Jesse Rangel (Sales Associate at McCarthy Nissan in Olathe), I know so much more about the features in this vehicle. From the interior design, the radio and navigation system, dual sunroof, push button start, back seat controls … the list goes on. The heated steering wheel remains my favorite part! Just a little FYI for you ladies and gents. According to NHTSA, the Nissan Maxima received Highest Front and Side Impact Crash Safety Ratings in 2010. (A 5 star rating!) And also tied for Winner in the Strategic Vision’s 2009 Total Quality Award for best large car ownership experience. In my opinion, this wins the “Slickest Ride Award!’ Are there any cars you’d like me to tour for you? Let me know in the comments!
