My Auntie Maribeth

I remember getting the call from my mother when we found out that her sister, my auntie Maribeth, was diagnosed with breast cancer. This is a woman who draws attention when she walks in a room, has the pipes of an opera singer, and can’t help but make you giggle. Years later, she is still struggling with reoccurring lymph nodes, tests, and follow-up procedures. But, let me remind you, this is a woman who not only continues to make you giggle, but has the faith of a saint. She will never give up. And I am so proud of her.

Kansas City Chevy Dealers are joining forces with the American Cancer Society in Making Strides Against Breast Cancer. On Saturday, October 27 at 9 a.m., we will start walking from Liberty Memorial — dressed in PINK — to bring awareness and hope to those who are affected by this awful disease.

Come walk, run, jog or skip … and join the McCarthy  Team! Feel free to donate or sign up to help make strides against the fight of breast cancer.

This Saturday, July 21 kicks off our ‘BIG REVEAL’ event for the 2013 Nissan Altima. Swing by both locations as we unveil this gorgeous new ride! Give it a test drive, enjoy live music, eat, win door prizes, and register to win a one-year lease of a new 2013 Nissan Altima. This event will go thru September, and two winners will be chosen to drive a new ride for a year … ON US!

Here’s where to register:

McCarthy Olathe Nissan  (off I-35 & Santa Fe)

10 a.m. – 1 p.m.: The Olathe Civic Jazz Band will be on hand to jazz up the event, and Nissan coffee mugs will go to the first 144 people! The Big Reveal happens at 11 a.m.

McCarthy Blue Springs Nissan (off of I-70)

11 a.m. – 4 p.m.: Get yourself some hot dogs, enjoy a free test drive, and register to win!

Something cool is happening in KC!!!

Beginning Wednesday, May 20, a short documentary will shine some light on original local music through the stories of eight Kansas City area artists. We’ll go behind the scenes of a variety of KC venues for a glimpse of why and how these artists do what they do.
