Making history here, people! I have exciting news! No, I’m not engaged. No, I’m not expecting.
Well, I don’t know how to put this, but I’m kind of a big deal. I have many leather-bound books, and my apartment smells of rich mahogany.
(For all you Will Ferrel fans, I hope you got that!)
Okay, jokes aside…
The Automobile Dealers Association of Greater Kansas City has been around for 103 years, and I was nominated, voted, and approved as the second woman in those 103 years to be on the board!
I will be a part of improving the public perception of new car dealers, educating and encouraging the interest in cars and trucks, as well as improving business conditions of the industry in Kansas City. Most importantly, I’ll be supporting charitable and civic activities in the community. Oh, and I can’t forget about our baby, the annual Kansas City Auto Show.
I am excited, slightly intimidated, but eager to learn, share and hopefully change “the way women look at cars!”
